Software City 2009
What a day - what an event!  Software City in Liverpool was fabulous this year - thanks Steve Smith and the team!

We had a great reception for TakeCare there with some interesting (and trenchant) questions from the 'Dragons' - Richard Farleigh and Mark Fuller (not to mention David Bundred) making their mark for sure!
Despite the strictures of a tight time-spot strictly policed this year (Steve) I was amazed how well the whole audience of almost 300 seemed to 'get it' - once I'd disentangled myself from a false start with the AV system!

Five mins (I think I did all five in three) is not nearly enough to explain a breakthough like TakeCare and it's implications for Cloud computing as well as email and the whole Internet eco-system (let alone the planet's eco-system if we can save a forest-a-day).

Perhaps that was why I was inundated with questions for the rest if the afternoon and through the evening too! (and completely k****ered by days end).

But I can't fault (and don't want to) such a high quality event with a high quality audience in such an amazing venue!

It was great to be amongst some of the cream of Silicon Valley - a reverse invasion? Looking forward to the return fixture  more than I can say.
